چکیده

Ternary metal oxides (TMOs) with flexible band structures are of significant potential in the field photocatalysis. The efficient utilization renewable and green solar energy is great importance to developing photocatalysts. To date, a wide range TMOs systems has been developed as photocatalysts for water air purification, but their practical applications visible light-assisted chemical reactions hindered mainly by its poor light absorption capacity. Introduction N atoms into can narrow band-gap lower value, enhance suppress recombination rate photogenerated electrons holes, thus improving photocatalytic performance. This review summarizes recent research on N-modified TMOs, including influence doping amounts, sites, N-induced phase transformation. introduced greatly tuned optical properties, electronic structure, activity TMOs. optimal concentration sites investigated. substitutional interstitial contributed differently gap electron transport. tune vacancies due charge compensation, which vital inducing different selectivity. topochemical ammonolysis process convert oxynitride absorption. By altering structures, these materials showed enhanced activity. provides an overview advances N-doped oxynitrides derived from environmental applications, well some relevant pointers future burgeoning development.

Recent advances in metal carcinogenicity*

The carcinogenicity of nickel, chromium, arsenic, cobalt, and cadmium compounds has long been recognized. Nevertheless, the mechanisms involved in tumor formation are not well understood. The carcinogenic potential depends on metal species; major determinants are oxidation state and solubility. Two modes of action seem to be predominant: the induction of oxidative DNA damage and the interaction...

Recent Advances in Hemophilia Gene Therapy

Heterogeneous loss of function mutations at F8 and F9 genes causes X-linked recessive bleeding disorders, hemophilia A (HA) and hemophilia B (HB), respectively. HA is clinically indistinguishable from HB and accounts for more than 80% of hemophilia cases; the former affects 1/5000 and the latter 1/25000 male births worldwide. In Iran, it is estimated that around 4300 HA and 900 HB patients are ...
